Art Adventure at the Arboretum
(for children ages 6-9)
Young artists will love exploring the "wilds" of the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit as they learn about nature and create fun art projects based on their discoveries! An Arboretum nature teacher will lead the class through the woodlands, wetland area, landscaped gardens and greenhouse on a treasure hunt for natural objects. At the Arboretum's art studio, Art Center instructor Ann Kullaf will lead students to create a variety of mixed-media artworks based on their findings. This first-time collaboration between the Arboretum and the Visual Arts Center is bound to be a big hit, so sign up soon. Space is limited. Materials fee is $25.
To register, visit the Visual Arts Center's website http://www.artcenternj.org/Create/Kids/Classes.aspx.
