Summer Rose Pruning Demystified

Summer pruning is the best means of getting your roses to re-bloom in August and September – but how do you make the right cuts, and how can you tell the difference between too much and not enough?  In this workshop, Horticulturist Julieanne Frascinella will teach you how to prune roses in the summer when they're actively growing, and will lead a hands-on pruning session in the Arboretum's Rose Garden.  This workshop is not to be missed!

Course will meet in the Wisner House; hands-on instruction will take place in the Rose Garden.  Registration is required.  Membership must be current on date of event to receive membership benefit.

Throughout 2013, in celebration of Reeves-Reed Arboretum's 40th anniversary and with generous underwriting support from Investors Bank, we are offering all RRA members free admission to our signature events.
