The countdown is on and the clock is ticking! Tickets are now on sale for Summit's most eagerly anticipated garden party – ART in the Garden®, at Reeves-Reed Arboretum, Saturday, June 5, 2021. Join your neighbors, family, and friends under the canopy of trees and stars. Sip a specialty cocktail and sample the finest fare David Ellis Events can offer and check out the wondrous live and silent auction while enjoying live music. This is just one short star away from a truly heavenly night. And if you can't join us in person, you can join us from the comfort of home with dinners-to-go and viewing the presentation and bidding in our auction online! The honorees for the night's festivities are – The Junior League of Summit – Celebrating 90 Years of Service to the Summit Community and Frank Juliano, retired Executive Director of Reeves-Reed Arboretum.
ART in the Garden® also traditionally kicks-off the Arboretum's season of visual and performing arts, this year featuring artist Pamela Casper's EARTHSCAPES: Emerging...to a brighter tomorrow. Informed by the natural world, Ms. Casper's recent work in oil and watercolor explores nature's ecosystems. The exhibit will be featured in the Wisner House Gallery June 14 through October 31.
The funds raised during ART in the Garden® allow the Arboretum to continue to serve a broad and ever-changing community by providing environmental and horticultural education programs to children and adults of all abilities, and by maintaining an historic house and gardens as a cultural destination and resource for over 100,000 visitors annually.
Sonja Shaffer Gamgort, Lisa Hatch, Sherry Kerrigan, Jaime Levine, Adrienne Lowenstein, Jill Rathyen Naseef, Pragya Sharma, and Melissa Spurr serve as the Gala Committee for ART in the Garden 2021.
