(for adults)
Enjoy a leisurely stroll throughout the early autumn gardens and meadows of Reeves-Reed Arboretum with John Beirne, Curatorial Director of Horticulture. Early autumn’s cooler temperatures, crisp light and ample moisture enable the gardens to reach their crescendo. Enjoy butterflies, birds and other wildlife as we walk about the grounds and learn about some of our most beautiful and hard-working plants as they reach maturity and peak bloom. We will also hope to find some early hints of autumn color within our extensive collection of trees and shrubs. Bring comfortable shoes and a hat, also rain gear if rain is promised as this program takes place outdoors, rain or shine.
