Birthday parties are held year-round in the Stackhouse Education Center at Reeves-Reed Arboretum and are a privilege of membership at the Family Level or above. Parties can be scheduled on select weekday afternoons at 3:00 pm and Saturdays beginning at 10:00 am or 2:00 pm, depending on availability.
Time: 1.5 hours
Limit: 16 children
Each party begins with a brief introduction by a staff member, followed by the entertainment of your choice. A short hike will complete the program part of the party. The first hour is entirely Educator-led; the last half hour of the party is led by the birthday parents, for cake and party food that you supply. The space is available to you 30 minutes before your scheduled time slot for setup and decorating, and 30 minutes afterwards for cleanup.
Please include any participating siblings when calculating the guest limits. See individual party package descriptions for ages.

Paint-a-Pot (ages 4 and up)
At this art and planting party, each guest will decorate a terra-cotta pot that they will fill with a beautiful flowering plant. The children will take home their masterpieces as a lasting memory of a wonderful experience.
Arboretum Explorers (ages 6 and up)
Children will borrow one of our Explorer backpacks to look at the natural world one small square at a time. They will have an opportunity to examine insects up close, learn to identify birds with their binoculars, and go on a Nature Quest in search of some of the Arboretum's little treasures!
Limit: 14 children
Terrific Terrariums (ages 6 and up)
Guests at this party will learn about the water cycle and how plants grow as they construct their own "mini greenhouses" to take home after the party.
For Animal Lovers (ages 4 and up)
If your child is an animal lover, you may choose to have a live animal presenter for your entertainment. Choose Snakes-n-Scales for reptiles and amphibians, or Wallaby Tales for mammals. We provide the contact information, and you book and pay for the arrangements directly with the presenter.
Cost: $185 to Reeves-Reed Arboretum plus cost of presenter
