Join us on our next bus trip as we head to Ringwood State Park in northern New Jersey to kick off a warm and welcoming holiday season with a tour of two historic manors. Skylands Manor (located within the New Jersey Botanical Garden) will be decorated floor-to-ceiling for “A Holly Jolly Christmas” celebrating the sparkle and spirit of this magical season. The exquisite Tudor mansion built in the early 1920’s features antique paneling, fireplaces, and stained glass throughout. A gift shop and holiday café are also on site. Ringwood Manor will be celebrating a “Victorian Christmas” beautifully decorated with Gilded-Age elegance by the Women’s Club of West Milford. This historic home is an ideal example of an American country estate that evolved over a long period of time. Its Federal, Italianate, Neo-Greco, and neoclassical components mix to create the structure that it is today. This open house will also include a holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Sale.
Please note: Both tours are self-guided. The café at Skylands Manor serves soups, croissant sandwiches, salads, desserts, and beverages (lunch/snacks are not included in the trip cost). We will be taking the bus between sites and face masks are required while riding the bus. If you have any questions, please contact Doreen Schindler at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (908) 273-8787 ext. 1717.
Please be advised that no refunds will be given, unless your seat can be filled by another registrant.
