Celebrate Fall 2023: October 15

Join us for this fun, family-friendly autumn festival! The day’s activities will include:

  • Fall games, crafts, activities, story trail and chalk maze
  • Pumpkin patch and spooky trail (children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes!)
  • Meet the goats grazing in our glacial bowl!
  • Tenafly Nature Center presentation in the Amphitheater
  • Wisner House Art Exhibition, “Nature on the Move: Rhythmic Abstractions by Jesús Núñez”
  • Photo opportunities throughout the gardens
  • Market and food vendors for fall treats…and more!

This event has timed entry at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, so be sure to register for the entry time you prefer, as changing will be based on availability. Please do not arrive before the time you are registered for. We will only accommodate walk-ins if space allows, so register early to guarantee entry. Please check our website for updates. This event is rain or shine. No refunds.

MEMBER REGISTRATION: Opens Tuesday, September 5 at 9:00 am. Celebrate Fall is FREE for RRA members. Registration for Family Level members is limited to immediate family only. Individual and Senior Level members are entitled to one entry and Dual Level members are entitled to two entries. When registering, please indicate the number of people attending.

NON-MEMBER REGISTRATION: Opens Tuesday, September 12 at 9:00 am. Celebrate Fall is FREE for children under 3. The cost for Non-Members is $10 per person.

ARRIVAL: Please consider carpooling, walking, or biking over to the Arboretum if possible. We are in a residential neighborhood and parking will be street parking only. Our parking lot is closed for this event to make room for vendors. Please be courteous to our neighbors, do not block driveways, and obey all parking signs. Walk to our entry gate to check-in. Bikes can be stored in our bicycle racks.

*FOOD DONATION: GRACE welcomes delicious, wholesome, and healthy food pantry staples and spices for the local meals they provide every week for those in need. Please consider donating any of the following items at Celebrate Fall. Collection bins will be located at check-in. THANK YOU!

  • Pantry staples: flour, brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat pastas, lentils, beans, oatmeal, baking soda, real vanilla extract, vinegars, low-sodium sauces, oils, gravy, and broths
  • Spices: oregano, basil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, thyme, rosemary, parsley, cinnamon, pepper, curry and garlic powders
