Daffodil Day is a decades-old tradition in Summit, when visitors to the Arboretum have an opportunity to enjoy one of the largest daffodil collections in New Jersey – over 50,000 bulbs in bloom in the Arboretum's glacially carved Daffodil Bowl!
The day’s activities include spring themed games and crafts, a story trail, music, food, market vendors, our current art exhibit, and of course, the Green Goats will be here.
Staggered entry times will be at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. Please be sure to sign up for the time slot you prefer, as changing will be based on availability. This is event is rain or shine. No refunds.
REGISTRATION: Member registration begins Tuesday, March 7 at 9:00 am. Non-member registration begins Tuesday, March 21 at 9:00 am. Daffodil Day is FREE for RRA Members and children under 3. The cost for Non-Members is $10 per person.
Please note that registration for Family level members is limited to immediate family only. Individual and Senior level members are entitled to their own entry and Dual level members are entitled to their two household entries. When registering, please include the number of people attending and their names in the participant's box. Thank you.
PARKING: The Arboretum parking lot is closed during this event, but on-street parking is available. Please adhere to all parking signs and give yourself ample time for parking and walking to the Arboretum. We also have bicycle racks if you choose to bike over!

Please consider walking or biking to Daffodil Day and enjoy the beauty of Summit by leaving your car at home. Bikers can avoid busy Hobart Avenue by taking quiet Hobart Road off of Whittredge Road, or Beacon Road and Ridge Road off of Fernwood Road. Extra bike racks will be on hand at the Arboretum.
