(for children ages 5 to 10)
If you like digging in the soil to see what’s growing above and below the ground, and finding out which creatures visit a garden, this interactive, hands-on gardening program is for you. You’ll learn how to start plants from seeds and discover which pollinator or pest visit a garden. We’ll take a hike around our historic property and return to the garden to pot up a plant or two. Each program features a different garden activity. Join us on select Wednesday mornings in the summer to get your hands in the soil and let's create something special together!
