Summit, NJ ART in the Garden, Reeves-Reed Arboretum's eagerly anticipated annual garden party and fundraiser, celebrates the extraordinary contributions of long-time community partners the Tom Ucko, and Celgene Corporation, on Saturday evening, June 9, from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Tom Ucko will be honored as RRA Patron in recognition of his passionate and unwavering commitment to Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Tom has been involved with the Arboretum since 2003, during which time he served as, Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President, and finished out his last trustee term with a three-year stint as Board President. He has long been active in identifying and strengthening the mission and vision of the Arboretum and continues to be an integral part of the Arboretum's growth. Tom has also been involved in numerous other local groups and currently serves as Chair of the City of Summit's Zoning Board. As Director of Consulting Services for IMAC Insurance Agency in Belleville, his clients include over twenty towns and Boards of Education in central and northern New Jersey.

As a science-based company, Celgene supports environmental stewardship efforts for a healthy planet, understanding fully that the health of the planet has direct impact on the health and well-being of people everywhere. Celgene's environmental management approach incorporates best practices and programs related to energy, water, waste and sustainability – all nicely dovetailed with the mission and goals of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. "As our neighbor and a corporation, we look to Celgene to work with the Arboretum in furthering our combined mission to make people better and more responsible stewards of the planet, not just for today, but well into the future," comments RRA executive director, Frank Juliano.

The Trustees and Staff of Reeves-Reed Arboretum will have the honor and pleasure to salute these important community partners at ART in the Garden scheduled for Saturday, June 9, from 6 to 11 pm.
