The Goats Will Be Baaaaaack for CELEBRATE FALL
at
Reeves-Reed Arboretum
165 Hobart Avenue

Sunday, October 22, 11 am to 4 pm
Summit, NJ Celebrate the bounty of Fall – golden autumn colors, crisp weather, yummy harvest fare – with family and friends, and of course, goats at Reeves-Reed Arboretum's eagerly anticipated annual fall festival, CELEBRATE FALL, Sunday, October 22, from 11 am to 4 pm.
The overarching theme for CELEBRATE FALL this year will be the eagerly anticipated return of our goats. Thanks to our friends, Larry and Anne Cihanek from Rhinebeck, NY, our 'green goats' will once again be on hand to clear the Arboretum's historic Daffodil Bowl, as well as provide comic relief with their antics and gentle good natured frolicking. Sponsor a goat at the Arboretum and get your very own Genuine Certificate of Good Goatsmanship! Check our website to learn how you can send a "kid" to the Arboretum.
Along with a visit to the goats, the day's fantastic festivities and happy harvest happenings will also include games and crafts, face painting, a spooky trail, apple cidering, seasonal cooking demonstrations (with RRA Environmental Educator, Althea Llewellyn), and an outdoor green market. A special added treat this year will a pumpkin carving contest. All pumpkin entries must arrive at the Arboretum by Saturday, October 21 to be considered (please check our website for full details regarding rules and categories). Music will be provided by The Bard, an innovative band that transforms Elizabethan music into Rock & Roll. And long time Arboretum friend, photographer Bruce Lorenz, will be on hand to capture the day's fun and activities for all.
Admission to CELEBRATE FALL is FREE to Reeves-Reed Arboretum members (thanks to ongoing support from Investors Bank). Non-members, $10 per person/ $25 per family, children under 3 free.
CELEBRATE FALL is sponsored, in part, thanks to support from Hall's Garden Center, King's Supermarket, and Iannella Landscape & Paving.
