COVID-19 continues to have deep, frustrating repercussions with our everyday existence, and many of life's milestones go uncelebrated or postponed. Like many students before them, members of the class of 2020 looked to their upcoming graduation with eager anticipation and righteous pride. But graduations during a pandemic will be unlike any others that have come before. Instead of celebrations and photos with family and friends, posing in cap and gown for a Zoom audience will be the 'norm'.

The Staff and Trustees at Reeves-Reed Arboretum are creating a Garden for Graduates to perennially celebrate the Class of 2020, by planting a June-blooming garden that can be visited for years to come.

Your gift of recognition will plant, maintain, and memorialize your favorite graduate. Simply go to www.reeves-reedarboretum.org and click on 'donate'. Go to the Nurturing Nature option and click on your desired level of gift. The options are clear – whether it for plants, recognition on a special 2020 Graduates plaque, a personalized stone, or a complimentary photoshoot at the Arboretum. Do something special for your graduate. Remind them just how extraordinary the ordinary can be.

Celebrating over 40 years as a historic public garden and education resource, Reeves-Reed Arboretum engages, educates and enriches the public through horticulture and environmental education, and the care and utilization of the gardens and estate. Open 7 days, the Arboretum is listed on both the National and New Jersey State Historic Registers. Funding for RRA has been made possible in part by the NJ Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, Dept. of Parks & Community Renewal.

REEVES-REED ARBORETUM....a place to grow for everyone!
