Holiday House Tour – December 6
SUMMIT – No one likes a half-hearted jingle and so things are getting pretty festive as Reeves-Reed Arboretum prepares for the eagerly anticipated annual Holiday House Tour set for Thursday, December 6th. Boughs are being hung and garden elves are busy decorating wreaths and fireplaces to welcome all the holiday spirited guests. The tour will include a record number of elegant homes in Summit, all decked out for the season, along with RRA's historic Wisner House and, as an added special treat, the Badgley Cottage, both on the Arboretum grounds. The private homes will be open for touring from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Wisner House will stay open till 8 pm to accommodate holiday house tour guests and evening shoppers.
Enjoy the annual Holiday Boutique and Garden Shoppe at Wisner House starting at 9 am on the day of the tour. Select vendors and Arboretum horticulturists will create a wonderland of gifts, treats, and seasonal arrangements sure to delight everyone on your holiday gift list. Evening shopping hours are extended to 8 pm so bring a friend and enjoy a holiday cocktail and additional shopping.
Tickets for Holiday House Tour are $40 for RRA members ($45 for non-members). A special package that includes an elegant buffet luncheon at the beautiful Beacon Hill Club is $80 for Arboretum members ($85 for non-members). Tickets purchased on the day of the tour will be $50 for the tour alone.
Don't want to drive? The Arboretum also offers a special, limited availability Valet Package for $125 which includes one house tour ticket, the luncheon, and a jitney that leaves from the Grand Summit Hotel and takes participants to each home on the tour.
