REEVES-REED ARBORETUM WELCOMES LINDSEY TAYLOR RENOWNED ARTIST, WRITER, GARDENER AND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR BOOK EVENT

Summit, NJ  Celebrated artist, writer, gardener, and photographer, Lindsey Taylor will be hosting a captivating book talk and presentation on Thursday, April 11, 2024, 6:30 pm at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Taylor, well-known for her expertise in floral artistry and botanical design, will delve into the inspiration behind her latest book, Art in Flower.

Art in Flower explores the intersection of art and nature through the lens of floral arrangements influenced by prominent works of art. Taylor's unique perspective as a floral designer and artist inspires readers to interpret the palettes, compositions, brushstrokes and mood of the art in flowers.

During the event, Taylor will share her journey as an artist, her creative process, and the influence of flowers on art and design. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the principles of building beautiful floral arrangements, as well as discover how to incorporate elements of nature into their own creative endeavors.

"Her expertise and passion for the subject promise to inspire attendees and deepen their appreciation for the meditative practice of looking intently and art and nature.”

The event will include a book signing session allowing guests to meet Lindsey Taylor personally and have their copies of Art in Flower signed. Copies can be pre-ordered through the Arboretum prior to the event. Admission to the event is $25 for RRA Members and $35 for non-members.
