Summit, NJ INKUBATE®, the collaboration between the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble and Reeves-Reed Arboretum, will present the final dance performance of the Sounds of a Summer Night '18 series at the Arboretum on Wednesday evening, August 1. Featured choreographers will be Belinda McGuire, Samuel Kunzman, and Nancy Turano

Dancer, director and choreographer Belinda McGuire, a NYC-based dance artist from the Jose Limón Company, primarily performs solo work through the Belinda McGuire Dance Projects, and has danced with many major companies across North America. As a producer, McGuire launched her one-woman shows, The Desert Island Project ('08) and The Heist Project ('11), garnering a nomination for the Dora Award for Outstanding performance.

Samuel Asher Kunzman has created two works for the NJDTE and INKUBATE®. A NJ native, Kunzman has danced with Ballet Hispanico Dos, NYC Opera, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, and is currently with Big Muddy Dance Company.

Nancy Turano is the Artistic Director of NJDTE. A director, master teacher and choreographer for dance, film, opera and television, Turano is a NJSCA Fellow. As a principal dancer, she has performed for such notable companies as Ballet Hispanico, Buglisi Dance Theatre, and Martine Van Hamel's New Amsterdam Ballet. Turano has choreographed 26 new works and commissioned 53 new pieces for NJDTE. The recipient of numerous awards, she will be presenting an excerpt of her acclaimed work, Shadow of Truth, and a new work with 33 dancers from Mexico and the US.

INKUBATE® is part of a four performance Sounds of a Summer Night concerts-in-the-garden series at the Arboretum, so bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. The Arboretum grounds open up at 6 pm for concertgoers to picnic and the performance is from 7 pm to 8 pm. The cost is free to RRA Members (thanks to underwriting support from Investors Bank). There is a $15 per person donation for non-members, $5 for students).
