Summers Shine at Reeves-Reed Arboretum!
165 Hobart Avenue
Summit, NJ 07901
Summit, NJ: The winter snows are finally gone and plans are underway at Reeves-Reed Arboretum for an exciting summer of weekly camps. Under the guidance of Jackie Kondel, Director of Children's Education, and Lisa Martin, Environmental Educator, the Arboretum announces a season of fun camp offerings as part of our popular Elephant Tree Nature Camp.
The River Project camp, and Rockin' Ramblers, camps designed for Arboretum explorers, will join the roster of our tried and true popular Super Sprouts, Nature Nuts and Wilderness Wanderers camps. We will also be expanding our Arboretum Arts offerings with special partnerships featuring ARTS by the People urban arts program with a week-long modern day visual street art workshop. And thanks to a new and exciting partnership with the Wharton Music Center, Reeves-Reed Arboretum will offer a unique camp experience entitled Instrument & Nature Discoveries. Of special note and back by popular demand, our Theater Under the Trees camp, for budding Broadway stars, will once again offer a very special two-week program culminating with a must-see performance created especially for RRA.
Whether your child is interested in nature, science, art, theater, or music, Reeves-Reed Arboretum has a camp for you. With many of our camps aligned with New Jersey's Core Curriculum standards, your child will be learning and having fun at the same time!
Registration is already underway and there are multi-camp discounts available. For information about these new camp offerings or Elephant Tree Nature Camp, call 908-273-8787 x 1515 or log on to www.reeves-reedarboretum.org.
So don't miss out on the fun, and learn why each year the kids tell us this is by far, their favorite camp!
