Summer Camps 2022

SUMMERS SHINE

at Reeves-Reed Arboretum’s Summer Camp 2022!

Summit, NJ

Capture the magic of nature this summer at the exciting and award-winning day camps at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Whether your child is interested in nature, science, art, dance or cooking, the Arboretum's Elephant Tree Nature Camp has a fun offering just for them!

Kids will be able to choose from a vast selection of playful titles such as Winged Things, Plant Pals, Time for Slime, Dino Discovery, Into the Woods, Fantastic Folktales, and more. Back by popular demand this summer, RRA will be teaming up for its seventh year with Bold Arts to offer an exciting week of performing arts camp which will culminate in a performance created by the campers and instructors. Since the Arboretum’s Food Explosion camp has been such a success, there will be TWO sessions again this summer. Each day campers will roll up their sleeves and prepare culinary treats from near and far. Don't wait to sign up, this camp fills up quickly!

Elephant Tree Nature Camp, under the guidance of Althea Llewellyn, RRA's Director of Education and the RRA's team of Environmental Educators, is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, so your child will be learning and having fun at the same time! For those parents looking for a longer camp day, RRA will once again offer Lunch Buddies. Campers attending morning sessions (9am-12pm) can bring their lunch, and plan to stay for an additional hour of food, fun and friends.

Registration for this season's summer of fun begins on February 15, 2022, for RRA members and March 1 for the general public. Multi-camp discounts are available. For information on this summer's Elephant Tree Nature Camp log on to reeves-reedarboretum.org or call 908-273-8787, x1920.

So don't miss out on the fun. Learn why each year the kids say this is by far their favorite camp!
