Everett Alpine House, Herb, Flower, and Aquatic Gardens and more. Attendees will also have free time on their own to explore Wave Hill’s current art exhibits, beautiful gift shop, and café featuring indoor and outdoor patio seating overlooking the gardens and Hudson River.
Wave Hill’s founding head gardener Marco Polo Stufano's first intention was for Wave Hill to be a beautiful respite for the people of New York City. Now it is visited by people from all over the world. A renowned garden destination, Wave Hill's 28 acres of gardens and woodland are acclaimed for plantsmanship, aesthetic sensibility, and the human experience of nature. Formal and informal gardens will delight visitors from season to season with inspired combinations of perennials, annuals, bulbs, shrubs, herbs, ornamental and aquatic plants, wildflowers, and more.
The Arts at Wave Hill include residencies and programs, exhibitions, outdoor sculpture, performances, and concerts for the public. The following exhibits featuring contemporary topics will be on display during the Arboretum’s visit: Maya Ciarrocchi's Muscota, Mosholu, Tibbetts Brook featuring cyanotype prints on silk and works on paper in Wave Hill House, photography by Deep Pool, and a multisensory installation by Amina Ross, both in the Glyndor Gallery.
