No, really! Come take a hike with me on the woodland trails here at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Our lush Welcome Walk, colorful Historic Gardens, blossoming Daffodil Bowl, and tranquil, flowing fishpond are certainly the jewels of the Arboretum. But as with any jewel, its setting can be just as beautiful! Here at the Arboretum, our prized gardens are surrounded by over 6 acres of natural woodland habitat. Summer Camp Summary 2021

Here we are again! Another season of Elephant Tree Nature Camp has concluded. It's astounding how quickly these camp weeks fly by, but we all know what that means... Lessons From A Zombie Apocalypse

I had an epiphany driving into work that one of the silver linings of this terrible pandemic is the possible reworking of how many of us view nature. Nature, and public gardens, and parks. Things we may have took for granted, yet now crave, and are being denied access to. I remember back in the Great Recession of 2008 that Horticulture took a hit because it was considered a luxury industry. Which I must admit chafed a bit, both personally and financially.
