Annual Appeal Letter

Dear Friends,

Over the last half century, the Arboretum has grown into a vibrant oasis and vital community resource. It serves as a haven of beauty and tranquility, a hub for learning and exploration, and a catalyst for promoting sustainable practices. Just last year, we planted nearly 50 native trees, and plans are underway for 50 more in 2024. During the last school year, our educators led 145 environmental education field trips on the grounds for more than 2300 students. Our partnerships with volunteer groups and special needs adults continue to grow and thrive. Finally, we have been working to make our garden fully accessible – and the final phase of our project is slated to begin in late 2024. And, just as the founders envisioned, we remain free and open to the public.

This Arboretum would not be what it is today without your support. Your generosity has been the lifeblood of the Arboretum for the past five decades, and we need your help to continue to grow and flourish for the next 50 years. While we pause and reflect on how far we have come, we look to the future with excitement and invite you to please give generously to this year’s Annual Appeal.

With deepest gratitude,

Jackie Kondel Signature
