Late Summer Walkabout: September

Thursday, September 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Early Autumn Walkabout with a tour guide explaining the plants the group is looking at

(adults and children with an adult)

Join our Curatorial Director of Horticulture, John Beirne, for a walk through the breathtaking autumn landscapes at Reeves-Reed. Experience the vibrant crescendo of the season as our meadows, garden beds, and borders reach their peak. Enjoy an educational and informative stroll through our core garden areas and recently renovated woodland trails, and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of late summer just before the Autumn Equinox.

As the days begin to cool and the transition to autumn unfolds, our gardens are at their most stunning, with plants in full bloom and a richness and maturity in the display gardens that is truly awe-inspiring. This is a unique opportunity to witness the gardens at their finest, showcasing the beautiful transformation from summer to autumn.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring insect repellent if desired, and carry a bottle of water for refreshment.
