The History Exhibit will be temporarily closed until December 4.

Lenape Living

Long before European settlers came to our area, the Lenape, whose name means “the people,” inhabited it. As students travel our woodland trails, they will learn how this Native American society based its way of life on the environment and utilized natural resources for food, shelter and other necessities. Students will also discover the lore, language and games of these first New Jersey residents.
