Arboretum’s buildings will be closed from December 24th through January 1st

Sensing Nature

Using their 5 senses, children will explore the Arboretum and find out about the plants and animals living here. As they learn to be “Nature Detectives,” they will discover clues of seasonal changes, animal signs and sounds, and plant textures and scents. Children will learn the ways in which their own senses compare to those of the creatures that live here.
