Full of character and natural beauty, the Arboretum is conveniently located in Northern New Jersey right off Route 24. Nature is in constant evolution in this turn-of-the-century suburban oasis. Within the Arboretum’s 13.5 acres you will find an array of versatile settings, each distinct in ambiance. Customize a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces to make your wedding intimate and truly unique.
The Wisner House and Terrace Garden
With its panoramic vistas of the surrounding gardens and grounds, the historic Wisner House accommodates approximately 100 people for a standing cocktail reception or 65 for a seated dinner. The capacity can be increased when combined with the Terrace Garden, which overlooks the Arboretum’s ever-changing palette of seasonal beauty. This area is ideally suited to the pre-ceremony cocktail hour. The Terrace Garden can be tented.
The Azalea Garden
This outdoor garden room, framed by living walls of flowering shrubs and trees, accommodates up to 125 guests. It is a magnificent option for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Azalea Garden can be tented.

The Rose Garden
This garden, situated between the Azalea Garden and the expansive Upper Lawn, is awash in intoxicating scent and vibrant color during peak bloom times of July through September. If you dream of an intimate wedding ceremony and spectacular photos, the Rose Garden is for you. Nestled in close proximity, the babbling brook of the Rock Garden adds another layer of sensory atmosphere to this charming location.
The Great Lawn, Herb Garden & Amphitheater
This general area can be customized for large or small weddings. The sprawling lawn is situated adjacent to the Herb Garden, from which emanates the fragrance of lavender, rosemary, thyme, and mint and consists of a series of concentric circles within a square, an adaptation of an ancient mandala pattern that is believed to convey good fortune. Nearby is the Amphitheater, which can be the main feature of an intimate wedding ceremony. It is planted with a variety of seasonal blooms including lilacs.
